Book 1 | Book 2 | Book 3 | Book 4
I absolutely loved The Deal when I first read it. I liked the main characters but not only. The whole hockey team, the great group dynamic. Elle Kennedy has created such endearing characters, it’s so hard to let go of the books. So I dived into the The Mistake and it was good as well. But from the very first book of the series I was waiting for this. Waiting for Dean’s story and… Elle Kennedy didn’t disappoint.
♥ Thank you ♥
I remember pre-ordering this book in October-November after reading The Deal and The Mistake. I couldn’t wait for it, because since the very first book I absolutely loved Dean and desperately wanted to read his story. Generally, when I’m this excited , I fear I might be disappointed as my expectations are really high. In December, I had the great surprise of receiving an ARC for this book (and I thank Elle Kennedy and her publisher for it again). So I dived into it right away and I couldn’t put it down until I had finished. This book was everything I expected and so much more.

The Final Score
– Jaci Burton
My review : The Final Score by Jaci Burton is a friends to lovers kind of story so…needless to say, I’m in! You must know by now that I can’t stay away from this theme. I just love it. I could read 100+ books with the same theme and still want more. This is my first book by this author and I’m really glad I got to read her work.
♥ The story ♥
Nathan and Mia have been best friends for years. Today, they need each other more than ever as they’re facing stressful life changes. Nathan is taking his father’s place as quarterback for his former team and has a lot of pressure as everyone expects him to live up to his father’s reputation. And Mia is starting her own sports management company. They both need stress relief but more importantly they need each other’s support. Throw in that they try to resist each other in order not to ruin their friendship and we’re in for a lot of sexual tension and hot talks.
– R.S. Grey
My review : Scoring Wilder by R.S. Grey was the sweetest and sexiest story. It’s no secret that this author is one of my favorite. I know when I pick one of her books that I’m going to have a good time. The same goes for this one. I really enjoyed it!
♥ The story ♥
Kinsley‘s goal is to make it to the Olympics. It’s a bit compromised when she meets her new coach, Liam Wilder, America’s favorite bad-boy and a professional soccer player. A relationship between those two is forbidden but it’s hard to keep their distance when they’re both so attracted to each other.
– Nicole Edwards
My review : Bad Reputation by Nicole Edwards was really hot and sweet. That is the first book I read from this author and knowing I love the theme of best friends to lovers stories, well, I was intrigued. And I’m glad I got to read this.
♥ The story ♥
Chase and Cassie have been best friends for years, despite all their differences. Indeed, they are complete opposites. Chase, the handsome hockey player, has quite the reputation with the ladies, while Cassie is more traditional in regards of her relationships. They do everything together and know all about each other. Chase has had a thing for Cassie for years but never acted on it. But then they go to Vegas, and well…everything changes.
– Delancey Stewart
My review : Mr Big by Delancey Stewart left me with mixed feelings. I finished it mid-August. That’s one of the few I managed to read this summer, along with Traitor in her arms. But I just couldn’t bring myself to review it. I was seriously confused.
♥ The story ♥
Mr Big tells the story of Oliver Cody, the CEO of the company Holland works in. He’s going through a hard time lately and while he deals with it, Holland is working long hours to achieve her goals and get her dream job. Little does she know, she’s actually working for the guy she just called an arrogant jerk at the company coffeeshop.
