– R.S. Grey
Genre : Adult romantic comedy
♥♥♥♥♥ (insert infinite number of hearts here)
First of all, I want to start this post by talking about this amazing author.
There’s no way you have missed my love for R.S. Grey‘s work. It’s all over this blog, my Bookstagram and wherever I talk about books.
I am a true fan of her work and I really feel like there’s no better writer in her genre. Her novels are the perfect romantic comedies. I won’t ever stop recommending her work whenever I can to everyone because I really feel sad for those who haven’t read an R.S. Grey book yet. You’re missing out! So if you want to smile, laugh and fall in love, then pick up one of her book. Her characters are all endearing and you get attached so easily because they’re real! Her plotting is perfection and full of pleasant surprises. I really wish her work was even more recognised.
Apart from her books, R.S. Grey really is one of the most genuine author. Last thing I’ll advise you is to follow her on Instagram. Her stories are fun, real and you get a true behind the scene on her work (also adorable glimpses of her life!). She really is as inspiring as the heroines she writes about. Oh, and she has a Facebook group too! Full of fun interactions and exclusive contents from time to time.
– Tracy Wolff
Royal Pain by Tracy Wolff is book 1 of His Royal Hotness series. It’s my first time reading something by this author. I liked the blurb and I was expecting a nice read but it turned out to be a great one and a pleasant surprise!
♥ The story ♥
Kian is the second son of the Royal Family of Wildemar. He’s always had a carefree attitude and enjoyed all the perks of being a royal and didn’t bother with the responsibilities. However, when his twin and older brother, Crown Prince Garrett of Wildemar is kidnapped, Kian is forced to step into his role. The pressure is real but a chance encounter with a mysterious and fascinating waitress will make him see things differently.
The Final Score
– Jaci Burton
My review : The Final Score by Jaci Burton is a friends to lovers kind of story so…needless to say, I’m in! You must know by now that I can’t stay away from this theme. I just love it. I could read 100+ books with the same theme and still want more. This is my first book by this author and I’m really glad I got to read her work.
♥ The story ♥
Nathan and Mia have been best friends for years. Today, they need each other more than ever as they’re facing stressful life changes. Nathan is taking his father’s place as quarterback for his former team and has a lot of pressure as everyone expects him to live up to his father’s reputation. And Mia is starting her own sports management company. They both need stress relief but more importantly they need each other’s support. Throw in that they try to resist each other in order not to ruin their friendship and we’re in for a lot of sexual tension and hot talks.
– Delancey Stewart
My review : Mr Big by Delancey Stewart left me with mixed feelings. I finished it mid-August. That’s one of the few I managed to read this summer, along with Traitor in her arms. But I just couldn’t bring myself to review it. I was seriously confused.
♥ The story ♥
Mr Big tells the story of Oliver Cody, the CEO of the company Holland works in. He’s going through a hard time lately and while he deals with it, Holland is working long hours to achieve her goals and get her dream job. Little does she know, she’s actually working for the guy she just called an arrogant jerk at the company coffeeshop.
My Fair Lover
– Nicole Jordan
My review : My Fair Lover by Nicole Jordan was a good book. I’m really ashamed of how long it took me to read it. But that’s not the book’s fault, that’s all on me. I didn’t choose the right time to start it as I was really busy. And I regret it because I’m sure that’s the kind of book I could have read in one go.
♥ The story ♥
My Fair Lover tells the story of Lady Katherine and Brandon Deverill. Six years ago, Brandon broke Kathy’s heart by leaving her to go at war against the English, her own countrymen. Today he’s back and she needs his help to recover lost family treasures. In exchange, she offers him to help him find a bride. She then starts to teach him how to properly woo a Lady but Deverill has more interesting lessons to teach Lady Katherine, those of passion and love.
