Can you keep a secret?
– Sophie Kinsella

Genre : Chick-lit, Romance Contemporaine, Comédie Romantique
Rating : ♥♥♥

My review  : Can you keep a secret ? is an enjoyable read.
I spent a really good time with this chick-lit and like every time I open a Kinsella‘s. I recommend for a stress-free and funny moment.

Female characters in Kinsella‘s books are always endearing and very funny and it’s the case for Emma as well. The secrets Emma has are those of every woman. I think each one of us can identify to Emma at some point.

However, there were a few things I felt were missing though. I didn’t felt any chemistry between Emma and Jack. But what’s worse is I actually disliked Jack. So I’m a bit disappointed because if I don’t like the male character, it kind of make me less attached to what happens between the main couple.

In conclusion, I really love Sophie Kinsella‘s books ! Only for me, this one is not her best, hence my rating. It’s still a really funny and nice read. The female character is endearing but less than I’m used to by Kinsella. And the male character is not dreamy. Still, a well written romance 🙂
