Arrogant Devil
R.S. Grey

Genre : Adult romantic comedy

I’m so happy today because one of my favorite author’s latest book is now live ! Arrogant Devil is finally here (insert confetti here).

So, by now you all know about my love for R.S. Grey and her wonderful stories. It amazes me how she does it each and every time. This author can do no wrong, I’m telling you.

Without further due, let’s talk about Arrogant Devil :

♥ The story

Arrogant Devil : Everyone in Cedar Creek, Texas, knows Jack McNight is an arrogant devil. Physically, I get it: he’s tan and fit, with coal-black hair that’s clearly been scorched by hellfire. Oh, and his personality? It burns just as hot.

When I show up on the doorstep of Blue Stone Ranch, I’m run-down and rockin’ my last pair of underwear. I’m hoping for a savior, but instead, I find him.

My opinion of Jack is marred by a dismal first impression, but his opinion of me is tainted even before I arrive. He’s heard I’m a spoiled princess there to take advantage of his goodwill. To him, I’m more trouble than I’m worth.

Our button-pushing banter should get under my skin. His arrogance should be a major turn-off. Problem is, devils are known to offer their own form of temptation.

Every one of his steely glares sends a shiver down my spine.

Every steamy encounter leaves me reeling.

Sure, it could be the Texas heat messing with my head, but there’s no way I’ll survive the summer without silencing him with a kiss and wrestling him out of those Wranglers.

Who knows…going to bed with the devil might just be the salvation I’ve been looking for all along.

♥ My review

If you like enemies-to-lovers, strong-willed female character and a swoon-worthy cowboy or rather cowman… Arrogant Devil is for you.

What made me fall in love with this book :

Small-town vibes! I love stories set in a small town. I like reading about the atmosphere there and how everyone is just one big family. Everybody knows everybody for the good and the bad parts. It makes me want to live in one. I’m a city girl, so yeah. I live through stories like that.

Meredith : for me, Arrogant Devil is the story of Meredith. And then, Meredith‘s story with Jack. I said it again and again but I just can’t help it. R.S. Grey‘s heroines are the best. I love how she pens each and every one of them. This heroine is strong and her situation made me tear up and yet feel so hopeful and admirative. I adore how the author wrote Meredith‘s character and gave it such depth. What this character dealt with is such a big and real problem and yet she did it amazingly, getting back on her own two-feet so strongly and positively.

The characters : Of course I loved Meredith but Jack was amazing as well. This arrogant devil was mind-blowing. Tough but sweet and caring, you can’t help but love him. And Edith was the sweetest and funniest grandmother. I’m adopting Alfred by the way.

– Oh, and get ready for some real sexual tension. Those scenes, those scenes!

To sum up, this book was addictive. I was on a reading slump before this story showed up on my Kindle, and this is exactly what I needed to read at the right moment. A fun, sexy and sweet romantic comedy.

I’m so excited for you all to read it. If you need a sexy, beautiful and fun read, this is it!
